I'm also musician and I have my own band. I have recordered many records (vinyl, of course!) and I own a record collection of more than 3.000 records (7", 10" and 12"), that I started to collect 20 years ago. My musical tastes are: bluesman from the 40s, rock'n'roll bands form the 50s and soul and pop bands from the 60s. My email address is jorge@amptek-es.com and my web site is http://www.amptek-es.com.

Joan Maeso Lorenzo (1964), if you are reading these lines in the year 2015, I'm 51. I live in Terrassa (Barcelona) and with all this technical experts around me I will try to give my attention to music, because the music is the reason of audio, listening to the music. I like any kind of music, but my disc collection in mainly composed by jazz recordings from the 50s and 60s. I haven't any technical skills, but I have been (I'm) always surrounded by audio equipment. When I was at the college my friends collected images of music bands like Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, etc, but I had photographs collected from an audio publication called "Alta Fidelidad". I remember the picture of a Denon turntable with tangential arm that was wonderful. A have one thing very clear: first, the love for the music. Audiophile? Well, You can always became audiophile. If you haven't experimented the sensation that music can produce, this sensation that makes you tremble, you don't know what music really is. My email address is joan.maeso@gmail.com.
Mi job here with the AN-Band is to help you in any question related to jazz recordings.

Telecommunications Engineer. Born in 1970, I started my professional career developing environmental control systems software and after that access systems for Lucent Echnologies. I also worked for a telecommunications company in Spain, operating and mantaining their cable networks (Retena/ReteRioja and ONO). When I was in my first course at the University I found at my college and old Akai open-reel tube recorder. It hadn't speakers but the quality of the recording it made and the sound coming from the headphones was amazing. So I was infected by vintage tube virus and I started to search at the university library books about the theme (I found even the first edition of Barkhausen's book, the inventor of the first tube oscillator in 1918). Since then I'm involved with vintage tube audio. When I learned how to control the desing parameters of tube circuits to obtain the rigth tone, I felt that DIY tube audio was the only way to find the Holy Grail of hi-fi. Since then my only hobby is tube audio, and with the years I have had specialized in restoring classics desings and in building custom made amplifiers and preamplifiers. Now I'm almost ready to start building electrostatic panels...we'll see. My email address is izozaya@yahoo.es and my web site is http://www.audiclasico.com.
Mi job here with the AN-Band is to help you to solve your technical problems about vintage tube high-fidelity equipment.
