This is the commemorative edition of the Studio 20 SE that Monitor Audio built for its 25 anniversary. For many years these speakers have been in many lists (they were Class A retricted LF in Stereophile's list) and in many articles and always they have shown a high level. What Hi-Fi journalist used these speakers as part of them reference system for many years with Audiolab amplification. As I'm saying this is the commemorative edition and so they have a special finish (nine layers of grey colour in piano finish) and extra internal bracinf to get more rigidity. They look and sound superb. Serial number of these units is 0016.
